US 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Strikes Down Concealed Carry
June 9, 2016
Friends and fellow supporters of the 2nd Amendment,
2AO is very disappointed with the anti-American decision made today by the United States 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. By a 7-4 decision, this radically progressive, leftist panel of justices ruled that “there is no Second Amendment right for members of the general public to carry concealed firearms in public”. You read that correctly – you, as a law-abiding US citizen DO NOT have the RIGHT to defend yourself. This ruling tramples the US Constitution and sets the stage to eliminate the 2nd Amendment altogether.
This ruling isn’t just unconstitutional, it is also racist. This ruling prohibits those in our inner cities and urban centers where the need of self-defense is greatest, the ability to lawfully defend themselves.
We at 2AO feel this decision should not and cannot stand, and plan to take this fight all the way to the US Supreme Court, which has already ruled that the 2nd Amendment does in fact include the right of self-defense.
Now that Hillary Clinton is the nominee of the Democrat party, the general election in November is crucial to the future of our great country. With the outrageous decision of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on the heels of our loss of Justice Antonin Scalia, we must dig in, dig deep and fight back! We ask that Americans unite with 2AO and help us fight to preserve our Constitutional rights.
Here’s how you can help fight back:
- Forward this message to your friends, coworkers and family members. Encourage them to join 2AO
- Make a generous donation to support 2AO’s efforts of protecting your 2nd Amendment right
- Register to vote and vote in November for candidates that support the 2nd Amendment
- Sign our America’s Amendment for All petition
It is time we turn the tide on the oppression of our Constitutional rights and send the freedom-hating, anti-2nd Amendment politicians down the road. With your continued support, we shall prevail.
